Does anyone know what day, time and venue game one against the Bunnies will be on. 10/11/or 12 of March ???

I know it's an away game but don't know the details.

What a way to start the 2006 season. Bluebags versus the Rabbitohs !!

How many hours, minutes and seconds till kickoff now....LOL.....

What are the chances of this game being a sellout given that it is the first game of the season. Should we risk rocking up on the day to get tickets or do you's think there will be plenty of tickets left.

Given that Souths have a new look side etc, there may be some crowd interest on the day ??

Can someone indicate what our starting side will be for the Souths game next weekend. I know it is early but given that all trials are over now they should have a pretty good idea about the nucleus.

There are a few names that I feel are absent from the above liste which was kindly posted on the NSWRL website by Girvie.

Do you reckon SOWARD will start the year in first grade.??
Also EDMONDSON from England is apparently still recovering from an injury ETC.

Any ideas guys ??

Fair enough Hyrundi. Given that it is the first game of the year should be a good turnout though. Are you guys gonna buy your tickets at the gates on the day then ??. How much is entry anyway ??

It's too early to tell what the team will be.

You can just buy tickets on the day. Souths got 25,000 to the Charity Shield so there may be a similar turnout. Plenty of space at the Olympic Stadium and there is General Admission if Jets fans want to sit together.

No 17 is a mouthful! I hope SOWARD is in a bluebag jersey more than a rooster jersey this year. Good to see Josh LEWIS in royal blue. I'm still in awe of his peformance for the dragons last year on the big day. Cheer loud boys!

I can't wait for the first match of the season... Think all the Jets fans should sit together and make a bit of noise and mess. Officeworks will be getting a visit!

Any idea of where we should all sit?

Perhaps the same place as we were at the semi final, though come to think of it the view from there was not the best. Good to see ya HPH and Greg. Can't wait for kickoff !!.

Like the idea about all sitting together though and making some noise !!

Did'nt you post a map of the stadium on here last season Jeffles. We should organise something again guys.

From Jeffles post last season:-

Apparently a Bay has been set aside for Newtown supporters. I think my informant at JETS HQ said it is Bay 136 in the SW corner of the ground. These aren't FREE tickets. It is Category 2 seats. $40 for adults, $28 for kids aged 4-15 and pensioners.

This is the view from Bay 136

Here is a seating map of Telstra Stadium for Sunday.

Category 3 (Bay 137) are cheaper seats at $28 for adults and $17 for kids and pensioners. That could be an alternative if you want to sit with Jets fans.

Check out page FOUR on Jets forum under the Newtown V Parramatta -This Sunday at Telstra Stadium !!! And you will see the map !

Just make sure the seating configuration is the same. That map was for the finals. Souths may have a different arrangement with the venue.
