A decision on whether the Roosters' six-strong Origin contingent will play won't be given until Saturday but the biggest concern is Queensland backrower Michael Crocker (ribs).
No doubt Roosters skipper Brad Fittler won't be feeling any pain after his fairytale send off to representative football while the likes of Anthony Minichiello and Craig Fitzgibbon were sensational for NSW.
Even if the Roosters lose a handful of Origin players, the Eels still have to combat a side boasting halfback Brett Finch, enforcer Adrian Morley, Ryan Cross and Chris Walker who celebrates his 100th first grade game.
It's all very daunting for an Eels outfit that has lost three straight and eight of their last 10. And the Eels haven't beaten the Roosters since 2001.
