No team can defend when we constantly give away cheap possession. I thought some of our defence on tackles 1-5 was good but how many times did they score on the last due to us not being intense for all 6 tackles?

but as far as measuring resources i would say flano had the leverage factor, sticks had f**k all to offer

Who can remember the old "they need time to gel" excuse and is it more appropriate for the first game with new halves and half the backline new

I am wondering though why the new coach isn't afforded the same "we cAnt afford trainers" excuse when we have a clear case were that circumstance already happened to the new one

Il put my hand up and say I was one the people on here asking why John Williams was in the team...I take that back because he was one of the few positives to come out of the game. sticky must be thinking how bad of a coach he really is when he seen how well AK played at five eighth.

Did these blokes have any bomb taking practice in the off season?
You wouldn't put Best on the wing until he overcomes his obvious fear of the high ball! At least his defense is still OK
Was at the game, just got home - Raiders weren't that good and like others have said we should have beaten them without Dugan, Tongue and Orford! WTF happened after 15mins!

Well Millers, I agree. I sill hold out hope for Flanno. I for one will gain mileage from the pharkups that our club will be this year, to the resident pharkwitts on this site. Redback, Slayer, SSB68 etc.
Notice in my critique of the coach, they are all things that I criticised the ex coach for.
To turn our club around, they need to leave no stone un turned. They should have been ready to win today & the the things he failed in ( team selection, bench rotation etc) were directly responsible for the loss.
I am actualy glad we play the dragons in 8 nights. It will be the make or break game for the Season.
He has 8 days to make the required adjustments.
