We failed to play any expansive footy & even when we got behind with 8 to go, we still played the same footy....surprisingly for the same result. :roll:

We didnt even make much yardage by running it up the guts. Our field position all night was terrible .

It is a huge problem for us. The amount of times IDG or JMo would throw a dummy and try for a scoot only to be tackled and driven back into the player that had just played the ball to them was ridiculous!

It would be nice to think Carney would make the difference but it is really hard to see it. The speed of the game this year doesn't suit our grinding, skill less game. Our passing is slow and support play non existent.

Most astute post in here. Totally agree. They even persisted with the slow, Sharp designed, defensive line. Everything about them was slow.

None of them wanted to be there tonite.

Ha. funny thread. Makeshift halves our starting back row out & reshuffled back line. A first half possession rate of 70/30 against. We lose by 6. Wrist slit times. Its like the peopke who were writing off Melbourne seasons at half time of game 1.

That's funny. Not even our NSW Cup halves. Might even be true. (The bit about playing better). Graham probably as big as Robbo.

Funny thing is Wade started as an 18 year old half at the Pennies. If he was even 21 now he wouldn't get a look in. But he served his Flanno apprenticeship and can now go back and play anywhere. I went to Brookie years ago when Gall played 5/8 and scored 2 tries. One positive about his injury, is he cant start in the halves or push his way in.

I doubt Robbo or Junior care much as they are on the outer.
