Unbelievable. If we can't win this one I don't want to be anywhere near the top eight. It's false hope from a team that obviously has trouble switching on to win the games they are supposed to.

Commentators just mentioned that mentally we dont look we are there ... now does this surprise from an Elliott coached side ..

we're not out of it yet but by crickey Elliott why not start the game with yout BEST side ... you know, the side that didnt play to your tactics last week in the 2nd half and clobbered one of the best teams in the comp b playing attacking football

I find it exasperating we can be so good against the top sides and fall apart against Souths. What gets into the players heads is beyond me but with everything on the line, we shoudl be playing the dour football we are famous for. Grind Souths into the dirt then open it up in the second half.

We're gone IMO. We love giving teams the start and now we've let one get too far away and it will cost us our season if the other games go against us (which is looking likley). We'll be in 11th position when we could have been in eighth.

When I made a thread asking why withers starts and carney on the bench - there were people everywhere saying that it was a good idea - even if wdon't start well. Like to hear these peoples thoughts now.................................

I seriously doubt Carney starting would of had much influence here. It seems to be more mistakes in our own territory that has invited the Rabbits on the attack.

From what I've read elsewhere 3 tries have come directly from Chalk errors......

There will be a few who will blame this result on Chalk .. quite frankly I blame the coach .... he is a f**king twit ....

When the team was named I said ... Withers bench, Carney Start, Purtell out, Zillman in.

Well we are 20-zip down to a team that has won one game and we had a chance to get a spot in the eight after having beaten one of the best teams in the comp the previous week ... knew I should have placed my house on the Rabbits

No way the loss will be blamed on Chalk. He's one of the favourites round these parts. It's like how Carney gets praised because of what happens when he's not on the field.

ohh c'mon ed .... Carney gives us depth and width ... the fact is when Carney is on we look a better side ... it's a f**king no brainer imo

... why give a side the chance to blow you off the park .. it should have happened last week but the dragons didnt take thier chances

we've now scored our first try ... after about 35 mins

the pity of this is that Chalk will be dropped next week and Howell in (as if Elliott needs an excuse to get his god son back in)

I don't know who's responsible but someone should have their arse kicked. We will be the first full strength team to lose to the Bunnies and it's shaping up as an absolute hammering.

Elliott, the master coach that has his side so well drilled is about to be the laughing stock of the NRL and deserverdly so. A flogging at the hands of Souths is a disgrace.

Forget about it. We are no hope and I hope the players learn something from it as this loss has cost them any chance of playing in the finals.

Chalk has had an absolute shocker. If/when we lose it will be mainly down to his early mistakes. Getting Carney on after 30 mins has also been a disgraceful mistake.

All in all a totally insipid perfomance by just about everyone.
