Clarke thinks he scored. Ref doesn't look.
Boyd legs taken kicking and boys in to protect their halfback.
In the bin! 5mins left.
Tauapiki taking the 2.

12-32 76mins

If half the team didn't get struck down by cramps in that last quarter, what might have been...

All in all that last quarter pretty sloppy, but another great win nonetheless

Great win and apparently only the 2nd time in our history we have won 3 in a row to start the season

Lot to like but lot to work on, we weren’t as direct esp. early on.

Barnett brings a lot of intensity, strength and skill. Boyd and Ford have really improved. Taupiki also looking good.

Looking good with lot of players to come back.

First game I've watched live this year and thankfully I didn't jinx us.

Good win over an admittedly poor Newcastle side.

They're almost like two different players. I guess, in the case of Ford, moving in has reduced the chances for him to make errors, and Boyd might just be a confident thing.

Now all we need is for Capewell to come back and not top the missed tackle charts and the transformation will be complete.

I'm home from my marathon to Newy. First time ever up there and it's a bit grim on a grey morning. However, the game was superb. For the record I left at 5:00 am and got back at 11:00 pm.

A great day was never in doubt with this team we're supporting this year. For starters, they murder sides up the middle.

Ha that ain't happening with Capewell. I was struck in round 1 by how many he missed or hung off, same old stuff. We need the game 3 SOO Capewell from last year

This is what heartens me the most. We are absolutely powerhouse through the middle at the moment, to the point where I'd say we're the best pack in the comp. Penrith are a better side but they don't have better middles than us. We didn't even play TSS last night who has been one of the form middles.
