He cost us 2 tries too. He shouldn't have passed to SKD and he's too lazy.

I would shift JWH to the second row when Kennedy gets back and FPN f**ked off to Newtown.

Hell I'd shift him to the second row next week.

Yeah the Roosters have been bad. Various factors:
1. turmoil inside the club re: Anasta's contract, Carney's drinking issues + other rumours which shall remain uncommented.
2. new assistant coaches.
3. injuries - 5 players from the gf team missing through injury. not an excuse but a factor.
4. they're just sht

How can they turn it around? Beats me, we're done for the year.

Will they finish above Souffs? Maybe not, but Souffs won't make the 8 regardless.
Carney's drinking issues were brought on by the club themselves. You can't honestly say when you signed him that no more indescetions were going to take place.

He's young though, I don't think it was unreasonable of the club to expect him to grow up.
If he didn't learn anything from the Raiders experience, and how close he was to flushing his career, his future....then he is never going to learn. Still more to come from hit yet, too.

If he was going to have any chance of growing up and turning his life around full circle, it was never going to be smack bang in the middle of the Sydney Eastern suburbs where drinking, drugs and partying is so rife.

The genius Rooster supporter can't seem to get over my team smashing his spastic, error-ridden team last year.

Bad luck spastic.

Roosters have to be the most boring team to watch this year. Players can't catch, can't pass and can't tackle. Mitchell Pearce is among the most overrated drop kicks in the comp. He looked half decent in Origin, when surrounded by quality. When he plays for the Sydney City Spastics, he's got nothing. It's hilarious watching Fox Sports as all the dickheads there talk him up, and when he plays like shit they blame everyone else. What do you need the Comedy channel for?

But he didn't go straight from Canberra to Sydney. People seem to forget that, he spent a whole year away from it. The fact that he was able to come back so strongly had to provide some hope.

The problem was the Roosters were never serious about helping him. They should have sent him to rehab after the Kangaroo tour, it was coming knowledge he was getting pissed with Boyd.

You cannot blame the Dragons for the standard of football. The Dragons turn up to play each week so do Melbourne and mostly Brisbane.

Everyone else it is a mixed bag it is why the competition is hard to pick. Blaming the Dragons is idiotic every team should turn up to play every week like the Dragons do then the competition would be better.

The Dragons are a boring team but that is because they are efficient and play the same way every week. It is up to other teams to change there inconsistent form. The competition has been like this for a few years now.

1-2 teams dominating and then the rest. It is all to do with week to week consistency so the Dragons deserve credit for being super consistent every week it might be boring but it is up to other sides to impose there style on opposition teams.

Last night's match was the worst... Well I didn't fully see the Knights Eels match, but we (Roosters) made 20 errors (mostly on tackle 1 LOL) and defended out line the whole game.. It's actually a miracle that we only let 20 points in!?

Yep it all the Dragons fault, Wayne Bennett is the worst thing to happen to RL

I actually like watching the Dragons play and have a lot of respect for them.

They are very set in their ways and only really have one way to play the game. Each game tends to follow a very particular path.

But every player in that side knows what their role is and they execute it well. Teams have been trying for the last three years to dismantle it, and with very limited success.

Moderators, this man is talking sense. Please remove this post, it's highly offensive.

There has been some crap games highlighting a genuine lack of depth across the league, yet we seem hell bent on admitting more teams in to the comp...

Mainly two things have mad the game boring this year.

1. The refs have tinkered with the rules.

2. Every team is now trying to play this (Saints) structured style and abandoning off the cuff play.

Saints only need to play one way cos it works Tom.

People call Manchester United boring for the same reasosns, but those merkins always win too - except for this morning

That's why the rules need to be changed.

They changed the rules to nullify exciting play this year, so they can and should change the rules to end defensive play.

THIS.

Don't ever assume that strategic thinking and the best interests of the game will ever come before cheap marketing and hotch potch, reactive decisions Alex.

There are more teams in contention for the spoon than the premiership. Surely that says something about our development pathways, length of the season and the scheduling.

f**k I hate the administration of this game. They'd be out of business in 6 months in the real world.
