I know it can’t happen but it would be interesting to read post’s worthy of suspensions from forums such as these?

I have never incurred any ban or warning (blowing my own trumpet here I guess) on League Unlimited but have on the Red Cafe which is a forum for Manchester United fans worldwide. I thought what I posted was rather innocuous but was deemed to be worthy of a three month exclusion. At the time the reds were going rather poorly under Jose Mourinho so it was a good thing at the time.

A friend of mine who used to frequently post on League Unlimited got excluded for a post about a matter involving a player before the Courts. He was suspended for 12 months and sadly has not returned to the forums since, which is sad, because he was very knowledgeable and for the most part always posted balanced and informed comments.

I posted this in the former panther thread when it was asked. This is a screenshot from Twitter.

I had one deleted in the JDB thread the other day that was very mild. They are pretty liberal with what you can post for the most part, but some areas the line is very thin.

All I did once was repeat something that was being reported by every media outlet that cover the nrl and the comment got removed, then I complained in another comment and got banned.

Complaining about having a post deleted or pushing the point in the thread seems to be a sure fire way of earning a holiday. I have copped a lot of warnings & just back off & no more bans.

I’ve been hit by the ban hammer a couple times.

Seemed a bit outrageous at the time but I didn’t lose sleep over it.

It is understandable the forum has to protect itself against litigation so they clearly err on the side of caution.

Fibroman? Although the balanced & informed part makes me think otherwise. He was good value though. So I would have to assume thats why Murraymob disappeared He seemed pretty inoffensive,

Fibroman and I go back a long way. Great mates always will be but no he is not the poster I was referring too. He is doing well driving taxi’s up in Taree where he now resides. We sat together for many years in the Western Stand but alas he had to move on and is doing well in his new abode. Still passionately supports our club but by choice he just doesn’t frequent here any more. He is a loss on here was good value if only for a laugh.

I loved the interactions between you and fibroman. That fact that he was slow in paying for footy tickets. Lost money on queen of the nile.

As an outsider looking in it was quality banter.

They were fun times Alice even if we were out of pocket.

Long before the Queen of the Nile there was a machine we used to affectionately call the ‘Egg’ machine god knows how many afternoons, evening and early morning we invested in that machine? Needless to say it was NOT a sound investment.

Fibroman is a really intelligent and high quality human even if he does have his flaws and perhaps you may understand what his main flaw me be.

It would be good if he made a comeback. I remember reading here before I joined & You, Fibro & Murraymob were pretty much what kept the Panthers section going. Which one of you was it that got the weekly predictions from Zelda the psychic from St Marys? I used to look forward to that.

I have to admit Zelda was my alter ego. I apologise for that and she has sadly passed on. She is in a better place.

Zelda had a daughter, a Panthers fan also, who is also into the psychic world, perhaps I could persuade her to become a member on here and just maybe lighten things up a little.

Zelda was actually real? I thought it was just you being funny.
