There's no way to know if that's good or bad. We do know he's a terrible coach though.

Get him in some development program he'd be useful. If his ego could take it, its a step down from head coach but a very important role regardless.

Hook is neither the best or worst coach currently in the NRL - he did take us to a few finals for the first time in our history. The problems at saints are deeper than coaching issues. When experienced players like Hunt are unhappy with the sacking it doesn't bode well for the club. I guess management there prefers the BBQ mentality to the discipline that Hook promotes.
