Years gone by we'd have people arguing that if a player signed for another club a year out they should have been released.
Then contract drama with Critta and Jarome.
f**k all has happened this off season in comparison.
I like it, looks good. Perfect for a training Jerseyx.com

I used to work as a Postal Contractor. covering Parkes amongst other towns. There was a fellow there, back in the early 90's that was in his seventies who had never been past the 60k zone.I left home at 18, as most country kids did.
The ones that stayed in my home town either went into the family business, (Farm et al) or worked in the bank or at the local council.
Some of those dear souls have remained there all their lives, and it shows......haven't chosen to broaden their surroundings nor their minds.
As I said I was 14, but I should've stayed at home and finished school - I knew better apparently... smhI left home at 18, as most country kids did.

I wasn't 14, I was 16 but I was the same know it all. I don't need to finish my education, what do you know Dad? That said, joining the military at such a young age was a great thing to do. The older I get the more I realise the best lessons and experiences I had in life were during my seven years in the army. At 17 years of age I didn't need camouflage when I joined, I was so green already! As I said I was 14, but I should've stayed at home and finished school - I knew better apparently... smh
What I did lose with regards to my education I picked up with life experience - I joined the Army, saw parts of the world I wouldn't have seen without that job, and gained a reputation in the civilian world that afforded me a very well paid job, without the formal education.
I do sometimes wish that I focussed on something I enjoyed doing so I could make a living off that, instead of being stuck in the industry I am (I really have no interest in IT outside of work).
Yep 100% agree - I'm the man I am today thanks in big part to my time in the Army - The 3 years of labouring helped as well - Learned that hard work is a reward unto itselfI wasn't 14, I was 16 but I was the same know it all. It explains why somebody like NAS often fails to make an impact when a game is fast, you just can't carry that amount of mass without fatiguing. I laughed when commentators said if he had played the Storm would have won. He would have been calling for oxygen after 10 minutes. He never goes well against us, he just can't handle the pace. Not many players can.
I mostly agree with that but it 'Depends'. If the Storm have momentum NAS is really good at keeping it rolling, scattering the defence and getting quick play the balls with gaps for the rest of his team mates to exploit.
He was quite effective against us at our home game before he got sin binned.
However, if momentum is against the Storm, he is a liability. Classic case of a double-edged sword. He generally works well with the Storm because they usually have weight of possession, field position and momentum. Against us, or a team such as Parramatta who can play up tempo and (at times) error free - he can really struggle.
