quite silly to drop him - team has been starved of success - let the fans enjoy this for what it is now - no point shooting in the foot -

that said, its a different story if he's causing issues around the club (which i dont see is the case) - Galvin should be looking at Brown now - signed the big deal and has been getting crucified on his performances since

A player doing this would be a destabilising factor and to top it off he plays like a guy with a huge ego taking over constantly and making errors and really bad decisions. If he was a long term half for the club you put up with it while he matures as a person and player but since he's 110% leaving you move on asap for the benefit of the club and fans.

Within hours of the announcement that Galvin was leaving, Tigers prop Fonua Pole had already liked a post on a Wests Tigers supporter’s Instagram page taking a shot at the five-eighth for turning his back on the club.

“Unf---ingbelievable. We give you a shot at first grade and hand you the keys to the franchise with every tool possible around you to succeed cya mate,” said the Instagram post that Pole liked.

Tigers better manage this carefully. If not, it will derail their promising start to the year.

Ivan will will have to go down as the most underrated coach in NRL history.

He is clearly one of the best ever, yet people still seem to think he’s average.

Its ridiculous.

Take a look at the experience level of our current team. That’s what he’s working with.

This team needs some time together.

Of course they need time. This year was always going to be a struggle. Anyone thinking otherwise was just plain delusional.

We were lulled into a false sense of security with the Vegas game, and the 2nd trial.

It's a work in progress, whether it will be good enough to make the 8 this year.....who knows.....but it's a work in progress. Hopefully things begin to improve soon.

A song:

(Galverston)

Galvos Gone O Galvos gone
I can hear the roosters crowing
Hes an eels junior and thats worth knowing
Hes a gun but hes issac moses bum.

PISS OFF.

There are enough threads in the W/T forum, without invading Penrith's.

Now don't let the door, hit you on the way out.

(Similar to what was said to me, some months ago when I DARED to post a thank you to WA Tiger on the W/T site. By the current Mod on less....... :p )

He though was deadly serious without the :p

Do you think working class people shouldn't have access to private schools? They should only be for the super wealthy?
Public school kid gets 15k from govt and parents chip in nothing. I want to give my kid the best education I can afford so the government penalises me 10k for that decision and only contributes 5k. I then have to stump up a fortune despite being poorer than the parents of the public school kid. Is that fair? You think I should get nothing as a penalty for such terrible parenting?
The country will be better off for my investment in education. Maybe I should have spent the money on overseas holidays instead.
Everybody should have access to private education if they can afford it. I just don't want it to paid for by the taxpayer. Parents whose kids attend public school pay taxes, so arguing they pay nothing is incorrect. It is your choice to pay extra to get the best outcome for your kids.

We do the strangest things in our economic system. During the 80's, I remember filling out a tax return for a very wealthy CEO in my days at Price Waterhouse, he got a spouse rebate on an income of $500k the same as my Dad, working as a bricklayer on $50K. Who comes up with this rubbish?

Here we are in 2025 and somebody is getting a $7,000 subsidy to send their kids to a school that charges $56k a year. Just crazy.

I think it's a positive move by the Tigs dropping him. Shows they stand for something. Fainu also looks a very decent prospect so may not be the worst outcome for them.
