History gone: Eastern Grandstand at Penrith Stadium demolished • The Western Weekender
This is all that remains of Penrith Stadium’s iconic Eastern Grandstand.

Lipstick on a pig. What a wasted opportunity
The best result for the state would be to just cancel it and sell the landnot having full roof coverage on the grandstands for a stadium in 2027 has to be a crime against humanity
That’s all good for you, you don’t go to games. The best result for the state would be to just cancel it and sell the land
Im not happy about it but it's basically not an upgradeThat’s all good for you, you don’t go to games.
Many of us do and look forward to a stadium with plentiful bathrooms, better food and beverage options, better seating, better than anything basically on our outdated former stadium.
Continue to give us your informed views from your new abode in Wagga Wagga.
It’s a massive upgrade, will be infinitely better than what we had.Im not happy about it but it's basically not an upgrade
It will be "Fine" for Panthers. Won't really have any use for music festivals or general community stuff. Im not a local so that doesn’t effect me the same but it was very short sighted. It’s a massive upgrade, will be infinitely better than what we had.
I agree ideally, would have been great to have both ends developed as well, all seater stadium 30,000 capacity.
it wasn’t to be, but what we’re getting will be much better than what we had.

The new airport is going to open lots of opportunities. It was never going to be used for music festivals.
Better options for promoters exist within 40km accessible by more of the Sydney population.
Also next to a residential area. No way it's getting past noise pollution complaints.
Was there not a poll of members who voted or indicated both ends were to stay as now? It’s a massive upgrade, will be infinitely better than what we had.

I'm sure the Minns government changed the legislation on noise pollution as it was affecting the night time economy $$$. Too many NIMBYs complaining. It was never going to be used for music festivals.
