1: What has Galvin said (with quotation marks) about his coach publicly.

2: For team mates to post such stuff on social media, (especially when they made similar decisions in the last 12 months themselves) Shows a level of hypocrisy. Why didn't they afford the same respect to a 19 year old teenager, that they received themselves.

3; We live in a free country. Galvin obviously doesn't want to stay at W/T. That is his families, he and his managers decision. Last time I looked this happens all the time.

4: No work place in the land would allow this type of bullying to happen without action being taken. I hope Galvin and his people do just that.

It's bullying.

Elite sporting teams are not regular workplaces. The expectations on both sides are completely different.

Rugby league teams are built on accountability and trust. Players need to know that if they look at the guy next to them, that they are willing to do whatever it takes to win the match. They prepare for games as if they are going to war.

Fakeness and bravado have no place within the squad. It's all about vulnerability, bonding, respect and a singular mission objective.

From all reports, Benji gave Galvin the opportunity to stand up in front of his team mates and explain his decision (accountability). He was unable to own his decision, instead laying blame on others. At this point the playing group decided they didn't trust him, and asked for him to be excluded.

Make no mistake, the remaining members of the Tigers squad are MUCH more united today, than they were yesterday. They may not win this weekend, but they will perform as a team.

Until Galvin owns his actions and reveals the real reason he wants to leave, his team mates won't want him playing with them.

To not even entertain the Tigers offer is grossly disrespectful. It's also telling that at no point in Calvin's statement did he re-affirm his commitment to the Tigers for the remainder of his deal.

As for Luai's social media post, that is entirely for the fans. He's standing up and saying "I am here for the Wests Tigers, and everyone else wearing that jersey is in the same boat".
He's taking all the heat off Benji. What a leader!

I guarantee he would have had words with Galvin one on one too. His character is not up for debate, he's as real as they get.

Well done Tigers.
Eat a dick Galvin. Hope you rot in NSW Cup (or lower).

The more aggrieved party here is the Tigers. Galvin and Moses are more guilty.

Luai didn't need to post anything on his socials. And you can argue he wasn't required to lead a team mutiny against Galvin. What have you got a coach and CEO for?

He didn't need to but nothing saying he can't either. One of the big reasons he's there though would be drive the culture.

Telling someone 'their wrong' isn't a great way to have a sensible discussion about the subject at hand. :D
Also
What do you mean by the phrase 'objectively wrong'.......

This is a fascinating piece from Luai's social media about 12-18 months ago......

Yeah know your worth which he does and he's right. Guy won 4 titles an origin and took his tier 2 nation to a WC final. He earned the hard way his right to go and be the main half. Remember he stayed and played off the bench and reserve grade when Malo ey was here instead of leaving but people have ignored that. He owes Panthers nothing and he has my eternal gratitude for what he did here.

Vs

19 year old who yes trashed the coach and said the tigers aren't right for his development. Don't try and pretend the media made up out of thin air that they went into the meeting with the list of grievances against benji either. Not once has any of it been denied. Leaving isn't why this blew up. Galvin's camps behaviour is.

Still doesn't give Luai and especially Tito the right to throw such things out on social media. Everyone knows there are No secrets in rugby league.

To Api, Luai, Tito some signs of their disposition on show here. There inner character, and it's NOT pretty, nor edifying.
Spot on. Every bit of info out there is from the Tigers, leaked to sympathetic journos. Theyre doing so in their best interest, but you're only hearing one side of the messy divorce.

Exactly. There is so much bullshit being peddled by the W/T and players within the organisation, they really need the 'dunny man' to call (That reference is for us older folks, who remember such a person)

I don't care what type of an organisation you are. The type of behaviour towards an 'employee' is totally unacceptable. I hope the Galvin family take this further.

Also, there's no way Galvin rots in reserve grade for the next 18 months. It would be monumentally stupid of the Tigers to do so, a move based on pure vengeance that would be noticed by other players. They either find a way of shipping him early and getting a value trade or they re-integrate him into the team. More likely the former.

He'll be at the Eels within 4 weeks.

With a combination of a hefty transfer fee and a player trade. Newcastle will be involved as well to get Brown immediately.

I'm more interested in what we can get out of it. We should take advantage.

He's not being bullied.

Instead of "I'm going to wait and see what options there are but in the meantime focus on my football"

He decided to shit on the coach and club. This is 100% a situation of his own making and a minority of people are trying to sympathise with him because he's discovering actions have consequences.
He's been wanting to leave for two years - that's enough waiting in anyones book.
