I don't really believe the numbers. We are doing well but it's simply not possible that we are worth more than the Broncos.

It's just piss and wind really based on some kind of mathematical formula. If you were to stick all the clubs on ebay I doubt we would pull the highest bid if actual money was being laid down. Still pretty cool though for a humble western Sydney club to be mixing it with the big fumbler clubs and clubs that have had it on a platter like the Broncos. PENRITH baby!!

They explaining the formula in the article, its not overly complicated, its essentially based of royalty rate for the brand. There is obviously some accuracy on it just looking at the results there is no afl or nrl club with a ridiculous rank.

Also just to be clear they arent adding up assets and liabilities and saying we are worth more than the broncos or that we generate more revenue, they are talking about the brand.

doesnt matter anyway - we are all very satisfied with where the club is at the moment and what we have come from in the past 10+ years

a success story of the highest order and there is more history to create

I don't think its that crazy to believe. What we've done this decade is unprecedented in Australian or even global sport. We need to follow it up with more success to maintain momentum (we would drop off harder in lean times than a Brisbane or Collingwood) but if 4 consecutive premierships doesn't get you near the top of the pile what would?

At the end of the 2019 season someone told you twenty five year old Isaah Yeo would go to become undisputed captain of Australia you'd get some funny looks.
