Cleary could score 4 tries, all from his own line breaks in Oz’s own half and there are people on this site who would death ride him.

I was lucky enough to be in the stadium on Saturday and the knowledgeable brits knew how good he was. Two things mentioned were kicking game and engaging the line.

Who on here are death riding him? What was stated was the QLD players are starving him of any possession to mark his mark on the game. The 7 is the chief playmaker and normally the dominate player in many teams, however QLD players appear to not like sharing the ball with him.

I was suprised they actually let Cleary kick the goals and not let little Reece do it in stead.

Probably because they've played together a lot. Time together counts for a lot and they rarely get together for Aus. I don't believe it's a disrespect thing.

Cleary unfortunately missed the 2024 Origin series which is the only series in about a decade where NSW had a actual coach with a strategy and game plan.
