Club statement announces they are aware of an alleged incident involving a player. Integrity unit involved….two games in….bloody hell, hope it’s nothing

I had some sort of premonition this morning that there would be some breaking news about Burgess. Nothing to do with this -
Just that there was an image of breaking news in my head - that he might leave??? either by wanting to go and play with his brother or leave with this case on his head.

What in blazes goes on here? No charges and only allegations at this stage but by crikey give us a break fellas. There is a game on Thursday night against the Shire boys and we cannot afford to have another man of significance down in our team.

I'd be very wary before flying off the handle about this one...

I'd certainly be waiting to hear all the facts before forming an opinion...

There are two sides to every story especially when you're talking about accusations like this...

If he has done something wrong i'll be the first to shitcan him.

He has to be innocent, surely... the allegations were made last week... there's no way Anthony Griffin would let him make his club debut if there was any truth in these allegations... right?

Six weeks after Jack de Belin misled the NRL and St George Illawarra officials about his whereabouts on the night of Paul Vaughan’s house party, Dragons coach Anthony Griffin was considering naming him captain for this weekend.

Ok scratch that
