Here we go again…..what the hell goes on in these blokes minds and when will they ever learn.
Careful, he may be innocent.
Surprising if true with his wife and young family just settled down here in the Gong.
Is it just me or the Burgessess seem to have a target on their head from the outside lately.
The phone incident now this..
IDK what to believe anymore :(

Well he has been charged and will appear in court, so it’s not a good look for him and our club…..again!

How is it that these "alleged" incidents keep appearing for the past three and a bit years with a Dragon's player? During the off season all of us on this forum could not wait for the season to start to see how the players would perform with new recruits and youngsters getting more game time.

Please for heavens sake Dragons players just focus on the sport you have chosen to play for good money and leave all the rubbish in the gutter.

Hopefully, this latest incident "did not happen" or is only minor and a misunderstanding.

Our image is getting more tarnished and I was hoping for a good clean slate for 2022.

Not judging his innocence or guilt but surely he could have turned up to the police station in something other than a top straight out of the dryer, shorts and a pair of sandals...You're not turning up for brunch at the local cafe on Sunday morning FFS...

Yes. You know that has been charged now after your initial statement
And you are right it is not a good look. The operative word being "look" for now.
I dont think it makes our club "look" bad at all. He is the one charged.

Time to go on a search for a new prop. Can we get one in time for the Sharks match? - which should be our soul focus.

Far out this is both frustrating and incredibly disturbing.

Now we get painted with that brush again for the rest of the year.

As if more proof were needed that it was a dumb idea to sign this ageing eye-gouger with a plastic hip,!
I was dead against signing this numbnut from day one. We've not even blown the dust off the new season and he's onto his second (alleged) misdemeanor which, naturally, is eagerly lapped up by scandal hungry sports "journalists"

And if you think this doesn't reflect badly on the image of the club you are kidding yourself. We are made a laughingstock - again - by someone to whom we offered a lifeline. And we will get our ar$e$ handed to us by the Scum on Thursday night, just to add insult to injury.

Season 2022 buggered, and it's only 21 March. At least last year I could cling to the illusion of semi-competence and a finals berth until July.

Will this be the beginning of the end or will this harden the fellas up (pun not intended)?

Hook needs to get our guys focused on the next game and the following ones. We don't have too many luxuries left. With Burgess likely to be stood down until the trial and we are already without Moose, Fui and Woods for 3-4 weeks we go back to Famasili, Alvaro etc. Not good old chaps.

All that is your opinion and gripe which you are holding onto and entitled to it,
I am not kidding myself I stand by my opinion
We ae not a laughing stock ATM again as you say.
How he handle this as a club going forward until his day in court will determine all that
Who knows we might just win Thursday night.

Just when you think things are looking up.
Jdb,BBQ now Burgess..
The first two derailed the club now the third one threatens to derail us again.
And now vlandys is asking for a please explain about the JDB press conference earlier this year.

Does the old adage 'where there's smoke there's fire' apply here?

Too much of this sort of rubbish keeps happening with our club. Once again the club has been brought into disrepute. Once again the club's culture will be questioned. Once again Management will be watching their backs instead of looking at how we go forward.

It may not be as bad as barbecue-gate but it will have a negative effect.
