He might be right but it is pretty concerning the direct line Baldy and Kent have into Raiders HQ. If I was a player I'd be walking on egg shells not knowing what conversations I've had with management will or will not make it onto NRL360 on a Monday.

Im Sure Hooper may think he is helping his mate "Sticky" but he is making him look worse and worse the more he continues to talk about the Raiders.

Its really amateur hour and it sews distrust.

Take Hodgson at the start of the year. Its a pretty common criticism of Hodgson that he tries to take on too much and just starts spamming plays when he feels the team isnt performing. So everyone with working eyes can see that he is overplaying his hand.

So when Stick has a chat to him and says buddy you are overplaying your hand and then Sticks mates in the media report the same thing it might make Hodgson a little paranoid that Stick is talking about his players to his friends to get Stick put into a positive light

Now, maybe Stick didnt talk to the media and they just drew the same conclusion a lot of people have drawn but because every man and his dog knows that Stick leaks to Kent and the other numbskulls it puts the players on edge when they see the media talking about them in terms that Stick has used.

He needs to stop talking to the press or he needs to go

He didn’t dump the club by text, he just attempted to get out the club and to a Sydney location, then told them he was home sick, then that he wouldn’t play or train with them because his mental health was so bad he couldn’t even face the club, and then tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube when he realised the cheques would stop coming in immediately because we agreed to release him
