I think the boys had been so up for the last 8 weeks that once we knew that we had made the finals they relaxed and in todays football you only need to be 5% off your game to get smashed.
I thought the dragons had the 50-50 calls etc but the boys know how to win so I really feel that next week we will be a different team and I have no doubts that we can make it past next weeks game..

This is what I dont get. We need this team firing for next week. Sure it feels like we have jumped back two months when things were going our way, but we cant let ourselves fall back into that rut. Yet our so called supporters feel the need to put the boot straight in. I know for a fact that players read these pages. So instead of encouraging these boys, we'll just make em feel even worse. God forbid we actually do support them. Thats asking a bit much isnt it? I wasnt angry by the loss by any means. But certain people on these forums tonight have got me livid!!!

Same here Nikki, I resisted posting last night because I saw some disgusting replies in response to the game. We're all upset and wish the team won, DA will have us prepared next week, whatever happens, happens, get out there and support your team, end of story.

Don't forget the boys played their guts out for the last 7 weeks to get where we are today.

I don't know about you guys but that intense effort takes a lot out of one.
I think that DA was not p*ssed at the effort,

Give the guys a break.

Did anyone see DA at half time. He didn't see that p*ssed at the guys like in the past.

Also as for the gaps we left, DA now knows their game plan and can adjust for this. He is one very smart cookie. This game was a rest and a recon for our future meeting.

I knew that when the bunnies smashed the dragons we would have no chance last night as that lost was totally unexpected.

Keep the faith.

Who are you guys to critise them anyways? We're 'supporters' that means were supposed to give "support" to the boys. YAY they lost a game lest all nag and whinge. Seriously they played crap, good on them! they've played so hard for 9 - 10 weeks now. What do you expect to happen? the dragons lost 3 in a row!! Get over yourselves, if you wanna whinge go eat some cake!!

that's where WE come in. Now is NOT the time to be bagging the team, they need us more now than they have the entire year, and certainly more than during the last 7 weeks.
i have a rostered day off on monday so at 9am i will be down at the leagues club to buy tickets for next weeks game to support my team and i dont care who or where we are playing

Get over yourselves.

That was a performance worth criticism. No-one is saying the team are gone, or that making the finals isn't an achievement. But the game against Saints was one of the worst performances of the year.

I think you should re-read the threads again

Exactly. He knows the effort they put in to win 7 in a row and make the finals. Why would he tear them a new one when it was clear that St George were up for it and we weren't, and when it all starts again next week?

If Anderson really wanted to win that game, he would have played Hindmarsh. I think he half expected to lose. Parramatta next week - with Hindmarsh back in and well-rested and Grothe in place of Jonathan Wright - will be a totally different proposition. They were bound for a loss sooner or later, and just happened to come up against the team that has been head and shoulders over everyone else all year. Now we know their game, but they haven't experienced us in top gear. They will next week. GO PARRAMATTA!

The simple answer is, if we had needed to beat St George last night to make the 8, would Hindy & Grothe have played? Of course they would.

It would have been nice if they put at least some points on the board....

It was just one of those nights I think....Burt drops one over the line , Reddy butchers one before that .....not nice to finish with a duck egg in the scoreline but it happens I guess .

If we need the team firing, getting smashed 37-0 doesn't exactly fire much does it?

I am very sorry but who gives a f*ck if the players read these pages??????????????????? Poor little princesses might get their feelings hurt??????? If they do read these pages and still put in some of the garbage performances they have given us over the years then they obviously don't care too much about the people who support them.

These guys have been protected for too long by our club!

Last night was an all to familiar performance from this team, glad you weren't upset, i was furious when i walked out of that sh*thole, i hate the place i have been threatened every single time i have been there!

The last 7 weeks were so fantastic, they were really building something great, how terrific were some of those wins? I was at everyone of them and loved the ride they had us on.

Then we get to Kogarah last night expecting a tough good game, after about 2 minutes you knew they were not interested! Losing wasn't the issue, i can handle losses when we try but we didn't try, we were there in body but that is about it.

Why shouldn't we be allowed to be critical????? I pay my money for my season ticket, B&G Army, football club etc. I paid money for a ticket, left work early to go and watch both grades last night only to watch utter trash, should i be happy about that performance? Should i talk positive?

To be honest, i know we can match the Dragons next week, our form over those 7 weeks, especially the Tigers and Bulldogs games specifically proved we can play in big games and have the right intensity but right now i am still pi$$ed off about last night as i have a right to be.......

I will be buying my tickets on Monday morning though and i will cheer them on next week as usual!

Read the signs.

During the game, Rabs mentioned that in 1983 Parra were flogged 32-2 by the Dragons in the final game of the round.

And the Broncos and Dragons this year have turned it on after receiving similar floggings.

Anyone who has written Parra off going to write off the Titans after they are getting walloped tonight even worse than we were? Just shows you what a lack of motivation can do in this game.

So for argument's sake , should Knights win tomoz and we draw the drags , do we look forward to massive turnarounds from Dogs , Eels and Tits?
At this stage Manly @ Melbourne and Broncos @ Skilled are set in stone.
