I just saw that the weather today happens to be a lovely warm maximum of 9 degrees, gusty winds and...wait for it...SNOW! :shock:

So...who's going next week?

When we lived in Canberra for a year back in 2001 we went to the game vs the Raiders that we lost and had someone sent off in the opening minutes.

Won't be in Canberra again till Melbourne Cup time. My brother is getting married, going to Canberra races for Cup day, should be huge!

Let's give it to those Raiders next week. We have more Smiths! Shut down theirs and we go along way to winning!

at this stage, yes!...I may propose an overnighter, get there on Sat arvo hit the turps on sat night, than get to the ground just before Flegg on the sunday.

Have some terrible memories of going down there to Seiffert Oval to watch Eels games in the freezing cold and pooring rain. Sitting on a bench by the fence under a tarp because the tiny grandstand was already full. The games were sloppy and from memory we got beat there as much as we won.

Never been to Bruce Stadium, but I hope it's a lot better for those making the trip
