Oh ok so NSW should stick with him regardless of how he plays but Hayne gets to piss off after one attempt?

Some people that post are so full of double standards. How many times do i have to say HAYNE HAD ONE CHANCE at fullback in a beaten pack and didnt really get to show what he had. Yet thats his time up and now Dugan after playing a handful of good games should get a run and we SHOULD STICK WITH HIM regardless of the outcome?

What a joke.

Goes for everyone young. Plus I firmly believe NSW will be better with Hayne on the wing. In the end Hayne has played his best rep games on the wing. Plus NSW could benefit from having two potential elite fullbacks in their lineup, not just one.

Lachlan Coote has experience on the wing and may end up there, we might eventually see something like 1. Dugan, 2. Hayne 5. Coote.

But for now Hayne should be there.

He has also done more from the wing than he has ever done at fullback at Origin level

But he has only had ONE game at fullback at origin level.

WTF can he do in one game Especially ' that ' game. Pretty early to make that judgment.

He will only be a lock in once he gets to to the Roosters R69.

You have been around the game long enough to know this

touche good sir
regardless the guy is the future for NSW at #1, they need not fight it any longer. Pick him and get his first game gitters over with. He's not only the future as of right now, given he's taking his place tonight, he's the best option available.

they wont need to stick with him regardless, he's a big game player, he's a big time talent, once he's going to nail down the spot based on his performances at club and state level.

Not sure if dugans shown in his short career any more than hayne has. Haynes got way more experience and a long kicking game and can even kick field goals if necessary. He can also put in big hits (v lockyer for fiji in 08). Dugan is good but hasnt shown he can do anything hayne cant consistently, until then, theres a pecking order. Hayne will end up nsw five-eight one day, then look at duges.

When is the last time Dugan got his team to the finals?

Dugan has like a 30% win rate with Canberra when he is playing

Only scored 5 tries in his whole career:lol:

How is Dugan doing tonight?

His win rate with Canberra is probably less then 30% after they lose tonight against the Doggies:lol:

Yeah I think your post sums it up extremely well, in fact almost perfectly.

Provided hes not busy playing fulback for long bay I think Stewart should be ahead of him too.

Hayne is not a fullback. End of story

Thats funny because last time i checked Hayne IS the fullback for both Parra and NSW. Maybe you should inform Daniel Anderson and the NSW Selectors that Hayne is 'not a fullback' as everyone else seems to believe he is so ;)

Dugan didn't play too well tonight:(
Got the softest fend off Barba and couldn't stop Morris from a standing start.
And you comment on his godlike defense.
