More of a thread for those who attended tonight. I had front row seats in the Parra section tonight and the night was fantastic listening to the chants and all the Parra fans in one place. Most of us Brissy folk get one chance a year to see Parra play and outside of Parra itself, Brissy has the most Parra fans.

Once the game ended the bullrush to the ground level with flags waving and fans waiting in vain to see our heroes, they simply walked off without acknowledgment. I saw INU I think it was go and hug someone, but seriously guys, you travel that far to see the amount of Blue and Gold fans waiting to see you, surely the least you could do is walk over and give your loyal fans a wave or something. I saw Ossie come and say g'day to the fans which was unreal.

Well done to all who turned up tonight, kinda wished I knew some of your faces. Maybe next year. ;-)

I might be wrong Snoochies but Hayne and Inu looked quite sick tonight, both generally looked pale, sluggish, muscle weary-tired and not happy (withdrawn). It seems this game has taken a huge emotional toll on many of the players, some were injured too like Hindy, so maybe these views mentioned may be partly why some of the Eels were generally not themselves this evening and went straight to the sheds when they could.

its always great to see such a strong parra following in Brisy ... good work guys/gals!

and i agree it would be very good if the players could take just a little time to acknowledge it .... so often i've seen travelling teams do it at parra stadium

I also think it would build alot of team spirit .... I don't think ppl realise the psychological results of simple things like going to acknowledge the fans - the fans love it, they react more, the players then feed off it and it inspires them more

We are one of a few clubs who just dont do it. And it sh*ts me to tears. The other week the Roosters NYC team even walked over to the section of the crowd with the chookies supporters at Parra Stadium. Manly used to do a whole lap, win, lose or draw. Not sure if they still do. There are a few other clubs that do laps. Did the Broncos do one last night? It really is a let down at the end of a loud and emotional lap to see the boys put there heads down and just walk off.
