I was at a mates 21st last night having a good time, looked at the cricket on TV and saw Maxwell guarding up. Totally ruined my buzz.

How the hell did this happen?

Poor kid, what's he supposed to do, say "no, you've made a terrible mistake"?

He didn't pick himself

Yeah he did. He's got all the toys this skillful unit. Was the first one on the plane to India.

They were just resting him in the first test. He's had a busy schedule getting f**kall runs and wickets in the limited overs games.

Nope sorry, he declared himself as the X factor player who will dominate the World T20 and smash hundreds. He failed in every match.

He's a self indulgent moron who deserves no sympathy.

He's an arrogant twat who refers to himself in the third person or as 'X Factor'.

After my club game on the weekend we were discussing why the current bunch of Aussie cricketers behave like such entitled pricks compared to the likes of Hussey, Katich, MacGill, Bichel, etc.

Simply put, it's because those guys were infinitely better than Maxwell, Doherty, Faulkner or Quiney will EVER be but they actually had to WORK for their places in the Australian side. Guys like Maxwell get given a cap because of 'attitude' or 'effort'. Katich and Hussey needed 15,000 first class runs.

Part of me wonders if Huss really retired because of the heavy tour schedule this year, or if it was more due to the Gen-Y wankification of the Australian dressing room.

my sarcasm too subtle?

Anyways, he's an Australian test player :sarcasm: In your current lineup there's a couple that wouldn't even make our XI, and we're f**king awful - brilliant

I am not even sure Doherty would get a run in first class cricket in NZ!!!!

I think the name of the trophy is due an update. Border/Gavaskar? Make way for the Maxwell/Tendulkar trophy.
