Hey Wireman, any idea whne the other Keane will be abck from his injury? Do you reckon there's any chance he might get a run at some stage this season?

Also, do you think Powell and Cleverley will be our long term midfield solution?

Will Keane did his cruciate knee ligament in June. He won't be back till next year (calender year not season) but i think he will not make a break through to the first team till next season though.

On Powell he still needs to develop a bit to play in mid. He has the technical ability to do it, just needs to get in positions to get the ball more. That will come with time.

I have every confidence that he will make it and him and Clevs will be in Uniteds and Englands first team for a long time.

With 3 of our best defenders to return. I thought we could have played a stronger side in the League Cup against Chelsea - we've basically guarenteed ourselves top spot in the UCL. group stage I suppose Sir Alex doesn't want to let up after going out after the group stages last year, and although we've won all 3 games, our performances haven't been the greatest.

It will be good for my nerves if we stop giving teams a goal or two head start.

I think the days of Carrick and Scholes as a midfield two is coming to an end.

Finally conceding first bit us on the arse. Had to happen eventually. Just wouldn't have picked the Canaries to be the ones to do it. So hopefully that's our customary loss to a basement team out of the way for the season.

I'd nearly make the trip down for such a game..

Pity it would be against rubbish like Sydney FC though..

Will be good for you guys.

When they play there and they knock Rugby of the back page you can have a glimpse of the problem super league has concerning them.

On the pitch, not bothered about the Champs league, that was done ages ago. We need to tighten up a lot. No point playing for a draw though vs the bitters. May as well go out to score goals, its what we are good at.

Nice to get a win over Abu Dhabi City. Was harder than it should have been thanks to the incompetent officials, but all that matters in the end is 3 points. Hope they catch the merkin who threw a coin at Rio.
