Go all out for Blair

During the past month there has been plenty of speculation about Adam Blair. If media reports are correct he wants close to $500K. I say give it to him. We obviously need new halves however there is a sameness about our backrow which has been evident since Glen Morrison left us in 2006. Hindy is like Ben Smith, Lasalo is like Horo. With respect to Hindy they are not in the class of Blair. When we were down to 11 we needed someone like Blair to support Moimoi and Mannah. However there were none. No runners, no intimidators.

Seriously look at that Dogs pack. An aging Andrew Ryan, That grub Payne and David Stagg made our forwards look pedestrian in that second half.

With the elections looming and the losses continuing I actually believe our club will up the ante and announce his signing soon. Just a hunch.

Adam Blair won't solve any problems for us. We need halves and outside backs. Blair is over-rated to begin with.

I would sign good players in as many positions as possible.

The fact that Stagg, Payne were all over us is embarassing. Staggs a great player but like Hindy mostly a defender
