Leuleuai - just because a zebra looks like a horse, it doesn't mean it is a horse. So needless to say, just because Leuleuai plays halfback, it doesn't necessary mean that he is one.

Marshall - needs depth or forward momentum, otherwise all the outside backs may as well stand still and await for Benji to scurry towards them with his crablike progression.

Leuluai is MUD as drop him he's had more than a fair crack to make the 7 his jersey he has no more excuses to use! Waste of space. Does nothing, doesnt drive the team around the park, his passing is muddy as well as his mud bombs. Would have better chance with Roberts at the half. Am I right that back in the Australian Schoolboys Roberts and Marshall were the preferred halves combination that year they played with Karmichael?

I hope they dont throw Hohaia, Ropati or Sa in the halves. If they dont play for their club sides in those positions at NRL level why should they be thrown into those important positions against the Worlds best team. You have to go with Fein and Marshall as the halves. Fein has the composure and skills to drive the team around the field and provide structured play the way he did for the Warriors at the backend of the season and Marshall has the flair and unpredictability. Marshall was trying to be both against Australia becuase Leuluai wasnt doing his share hence Marshall not being able to play his natural game. Fein was mud cause he was confused as to which role he was to play with Leuluai missing in action, more comfortable at 7 as shown in the Warriors.

Inu needs to be bought in on the wing or at fullback that is where in the past he has been his most devastating.

Leave Lance where he is, he's doing well in his position; it's up to others to do well in theirs, and be replaced if they don't do the bizz. That doesn't mean we EXPECT to win up against Aussie...but we should compete and compete well. I don't care how many 'best in the world in x position' players they have...we should be well past these weak performances now, NRL players (And superleague, Thomas)should be able to put in a professional performance

You make some good points!

3 - Lance Hohaia. He's good a fullback, but he doesn't look comfortable there. Put him in the halves with Benji and play a more open, attacking style of footy and suddenly the Kiwis look a LOT more dangerous.

lol

Trust me, Handbrake Hohaia in the halves is not going to lead to a more attacking style of play.
