They have a perfectly viable bid in Canberra that, they strung along for f**king years, they have NO VIABLE BID in Western Sydney, they have NO FINANCE in Western Sydney, and yet somehow they're STILL ahead of Canberra, who have done everything right.

To be fair what else do you expect from the FFA, they are led by the most incompetent leader in Ben Buckley. Lowy on the other hand is a man that i respect hugely. He has done more for football in Australia than any other man and most of it out of his own pocket. I'd like to see both a WS and Canberra team set up in the near future, would prefer the Canberra team first as Sydney FC need to get more of hold in sydney at the moment and another sporting team would quite possibly kill both teams.

My only real issue with the inclusion of the Bears is that it's adding another team to an already over-saturated area.

If you can point out the A-League teams in Canberra that would make a Canberra team overkill for the area, you may have a point.

But as usual, you've gone for the hail mary and failed spectacularly.

I'm not aware of any existing clubs who play 10 or more home games at Bluetongue Stadium or have Central Coast in their name.

My belief is when it comes to expansion in the NRL - 2 teams. 1 to consolidate already well-supported areas (CC or BNE2) - and 1 to expand (Perth)

I just think the CC is close enough to the 9 Sydney teams that it doesn't have as strong a claim as the other bids.

So fine, call me a hypocrite if you want... but while you're at it, point out the other bids for an A-League team that exist at the moment.
