I thought the Roosters were best served tonight by Tom Symonds.
Deserved those last two tries.
Thought Friend & Kennedy went really well for the Roosters as well.

I loved the little rangmeister tonight. Thought Perrett was great as well. I'm too long in the tooth and have survived too many disappointments to predict what the seasons end result will be. But thanks boys for a great game. When Souths got their sh*t together and played as they should have, it was a lesson in complacency for you. Lucky for you Bubbles and I were screeching instructions from the loungeroom. I also thought it was awesome when Souths players got carried away with their own importance and began strutting around as if they had won with less than 10 minutes to go. Don't ever count your Chickens before they've hatched.

Only question is, when Carney comes back who misses out - JWH, Mose, Symonds?

All deserve a spot. In the long run injuries will ensure they are rarely dropped because a full strength forward pack wont stay in tact for long...

I'm also a fan of the interchange hooker. I maintain that Smith made a big blunder in dropping Aubusson for the GF for Lopini Paea of all people. Why change a winning formula. I suspect before long this problem of Riddell v Masoe v Symonds will be solved by injuries, unfortunately, but that's the way it goes. We'd be very lucky if no forwards get injured in the coming weeks.
