Wow. Good job fronting boys. Final score wasn't a reflection of the game, but it just wasn't ever going to happen for the Dragons tonight. But a fairly successful year in the end anyway, just fell short on a few areas that stopped you from being a top four team. Wayne Bennett will iron them out...

Your mob would've felt well supported as well out there - your fans travel well. And make a lot of noise while they're at it...Very impressive. Easily the best travelling support out of all the Sydney teams (Parra not a long way behind mind you).

Yes..I second that. Fronting up the day after takes a lot of character. So, well done to those Dragons fans that made the effort.

Putting the result aside, one of the more heartening things for me last night was, the scene on the hill. To see it jam packed again, football jumpers, flags and banners from both teams. All proudly on display, well done to all that were there.

Finally, congratulations to the Manly players on a terrific win. Enjoy the week off, you earned it!

I just could not bring myself to get on here uintil today, so very pissed off.

Firstly congrats, excellent display last night. Better in every department.

2ndly, what the **** was Brown thinking naming Rogers at 5/8, we had Soward fit on the bench, as soon as I saw the run on team, I said to the missus, oh well that's 2008 over.

Best of luck for the rest of the finals, I am now on the manly bandwagons, as I hate you guys the less out of the teams remaining.Canberra will do nothing, and the other 4 sides are just scum, utter scum.

Well, it looks like I've got to change bandwagons now. That was quite possibly the best finals game I've seen since the Raiders and Dogs extra time game in '94. Sucked in, Melbourne!

Well done boys,

I said I wouldn't wish you luck, but I do from this point on. Sincerely best of luck for the remainder of the year..

Saints weren't in it from half time on and Manly played excellent footy. The end result wasn't influenced by the ref and there was no golden point. I'd rather lose by 40 points than lose by one.

Well done, well done. The finals now take on different look with the Storm beaten today, you guys may well be playing the Broncs in the GF.

Good luck in the finals boys.

Manly played great on Saturday, and Beaver was inspirational. Manly fans were loud and proud.
I wasn't happy with some of the referee's decisions, but I don't think we would have beaten you guys even with a friendly ref; the game just would have been a tad less disappointing.

Best of luck in the finals.

I can’t bring myself to wish Manly luck but what the hell, you played with honour and skill and we were fairly beaten.
I hope that Steve Menzies returns soon to inspire all on the peninsula
IMO he must ultimately go down as one of the legends of the game and who knows perhaps even an immortal

Beautiful stuff Eagles! You not only took that horrible record off our backs, but put it on to a team that couldn't deserve it more. Well done!
