Best alliance in hip-hop.
Bumping this just to add that Kweli is playing a show at the Metro with Bahamidia Feb 15. Cool mar farkus really shouldn't miss it, not quite Black Star, but well worth attending, imo. Mos Def is coming soon though.

Talib Kweli (Splore)
JEan Grae (Splore)
Kanye West (+ 2 shows opening for U2)
Onyx
Mos Def
Ikon (Possibly featuring RA The Rugged Man and Jus Allah - OH HELL YEAH!)

You do realise that pissing in the garden is the best way to go after a huge night out don't you?

If Talib Kweli is a "crumby hip hop artist" who would you say was decent? Because you are implying that there are decent hip hop artists.

Marlins, the Kweli show last night. He was good, but he was upstaged big-time by Z-Trip and his surprise guest Supernatural. Whoever's going to the Good Vibrations make sure you catch Z-Trip, master of the mash-up and the worlds greatest dj. Mixing live hip-hop mashes of Immigrant Song, TNT, Wonderwall... crazy sh!t. And Supernatural... nothing short of fkn freestyle genius.
