Does anyone know when Google updates the images on Google Earth?

There is a special key sequence you need to input on your keyboard to retask the satellites to refresh the data over your location. I can't recall the sequence, I am sure you can search google for the answer.

You can do this for other locations as well, but it takes a bit longer.

its roughly about 5 years behind real time in my experience

you can get it it real time if you upgrade to Google Earth Pro or what ever its called but you have to pay.

I use Nearmap.

Updated every couple of months. Doesn't have the functionality of Google Earth but the images are better. Unless you live in a rural area.
