I like most of that but don't think players should ever have to sit out of rep footy, let alone for 3 years, time is of the essence, I think even 4 game suspensions in the nrl are a travesty and a waste of prime athlete. Maybe have them pay a fee or I guess I'm starting to come around to the idea of players just having to stick with one nation, I don't think the choice would be that hard for most as long as origin eligibility isn't impacted.
