actually , I have heard the same thing...not from reefy.
From 2 dogs die hards I know...they did their entire schooling and junior footy with an ex bulldog ( and are still close mates with ) who also happens to work for the dogs now.

Why else would they decide to spend millions and millions of dollars in renovations to the ground to have a better training paddock?

i'm sure they've upgraded it now to be able to train there and admin facilities there

but i thought i heard the move back would be impractical due to increase in attendances

but if they could somehow get a 25k stadium at Belmore with option to play 2 or 3 blockbusters a year at ANZ, then i'd say they'd be doing everything possible to make that happen
