SG Ball: Premiers
Jersey Flegg: Grand Finalists
Premier League: Premiers

Not a bad effort for the club as a whole

And considering the PL had to win it from 7th (ie 3 weeks of sudden death football)

with the storm's cake walk over the manly, doesn't it make parra's last week effort all the more creditable?

if you cont inu's second try and take away king's dropped ball which was given as a try, that means parra lost both games to melb (IN MELB) by 4 points each game

Lyon should get cited for that. If Wagon copped two weeks, that should be worth something. Or is he exempt because he is a so called 'big name'

Thing that impressed me about our performance last weekend is that I feel we lost the match, rather than Melbourne won it. Seriously - Inu's second try was a deadset BOTD decision, and had Tim been more patient early in the second half and put a grubber in the in-goal for a try/drop out, who knows what would have happened?

Congrats to the Storm, but in all honesty...They're lucky they played Manly in the GF.

Storm were the best team all year but we really stuck it to them but in saying that i dont know if we would have beaten Manly one thing i do know is we played better than Manly did tonight.

What really irks me about our side is that we're our worst enemy. Look at last week - we scored first and out-muscled Melbourne in the first 20 minutes and still fell behind. Eventually, though, we levelled the scores and looked dangerous. Again, though, we "fell asleep" and they got the ascendancy.

If we can put 80 minutes of footy together, we'll be good enough to go all the way.

Yeah i agree but Storm do the little things well and thats how they beat us although i see your point, it was a great game i thought.

They're a good team. Undoubtedly.

But I think we can more than match them in terms of talent - the times we've met this season show that.

The thing they have that we don't is the ability to play for 80 minutes and grind out a victory. We showed but on two or three occassions that we can grind out an ugly win.

Once we develop that ability, dare I say it - the title is ours to lose.
