I know 2 Pearl Jam songs I would be mildly entertained if they played them before some Rugby League.

I don't know Joy Division.

I do know The Who - probably 5 or 6 songs

Blasphemy

You'll be telling me you've never heard Half Man Half Biscuit's "Joy Division oven gloves" next

If I were Ian Curtis I'd f**king neck myself..............

Awesome band, IMO Kinks are up there with the likes of Cream, Yardbirds etc. The Kinks' influence was really hurt though when they were banned from touring the US at the height of the British Invasion.

Ah the boys from Muswell Hill - Last time I was in London, I went to see "Sunny Afternoon - the Story of the Kinks" in the West End. Lovely little play in a beautiful theatre. Fantastic songs - the Kinks were probably my favourite band growing up after The Who

All Day, all of the night - the first song accredited as having a heavy metal guitar riff strangely enough
You really got me

Dead-End Street
Sunny afternoon
Lola
Waterloo sunset
Autumn Almanac (my daughter loves this song for some reason)
Days
Victoria
The Village Green Preservation Society

So, so many fantastic songs about English life. The quintessential English pop / rock group

Why not let the Broncos do the halftime entertainment. Hopefully they won't be playing and it won't be a home game, but it will be another Sunday game for them

Can we get the Inspiral Carpets to play "This is how it feels" when the losing team are collecting their participation medals?

Does it really matter who plays in any grand final? I don't tune in until just before the first bounce as I'm too busy cooking a barbie and working out the betting sweeps for the game. Wheel out Joe Blogs from the local pub.

The NRL Is Aiming Big For The Grand Final Entertainment This Year

With the finals series fast approaching, there's already talk about the NRL Grand Final entertainment this year.

And according to Triple M and Fox Sports' James Hooper, it's going to go off.

"The NRL are shooting for the stars," Hoops said.

"It's not over the line yet, but the number one priority is to try to get the Foo Fighters.

"But their schedule is a little bit jammed, so they might not be able to get it over the line.

"Failing that, the Black Eyed Peas are right in contention."
