The Super Bowl halftime entertainment makes the news with the game’s result thrown in at the end of the story most times. For the casuals, it kind of lends credibility to the sport if big name entertainers take on the gig. I guess maybe it’s a reflection of a sport’s cultural significance? I don’t care per say but do care how the sport is viewed by the wider public.

yep,it’s a perception thing. Small sport or big sport, rests on the shoulders of pre match entertainment choice lol
do the nrl really not know yet who it will be? Maybe it’s such a big announcement they are waiting for the right moment
