Souths strong for 30 minutes and then the bounce of the ball deserted them, and it all fell apart for them from there.

The battle for the West is on though.

Interesting to see what happens with Kikau. Second shoulder charge offence for the season ordinarily you'd think gets him a week off. We shall see though.

Either way, Panthers will be a tough opponent.

For the first 30-35mins Souths looked like they were going to spring the upset.

Then when the Panthers evened the scores before half-time, and scored first in the second half, the Bunnies imploded.

Full credit to Penrith though - cool calm and full of self-belief, even when two tries behind.

Luai's a niggly prick, and hopefully Kikau has some worries with the match review panel... but I'm guessing the fans want him to play, so .
