Brisbane 2000 2006 2015Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the last 20 odd years the only side not to play in a Grand Final are the Titans?

Clearly the AFL Model is a much Fairer model.....
What a wonderfully diverse comp.
I look forward to the diversity of the next 21 seasons as well.
P.S Thanks Gregstar for supplying the info.
The comparison with the AFL is kind of irrelevant imo.
Point is that in the NRL 2 teams have occupied 17 of the last 21 Grand Finals.
2 out of 16 teams!
Something smells...

Souths also won 5 out of 7 grand finals before St George’s 11 straight started.Lol, dynasties are the norm, not the exception.
50s/60s dragons won 11 premierships in a row. Following that souffs win four in five years. The 70s see Manly win four premierships, with dragons getting two in three years and the Roosters going back to back. Along comes the 80s when Parramatta and Canterbury each win four premierships. Then Brisbane win 5 between 1992 and 2000.
Yet it's only now that people are walking away because of a couple of teams dominating? Lol
Souths also won 5 out of 7 grand finals before St George’s 11 straight started.
So St George’s 11 straight can’t be counted because it’s in a pre salary cap era? EPL domination can’t be counted since there is no salary capAll of those achievements were pre-salary cap.
A salary cap which clearly either doesn't work or is being rorted.
Take your pick...
Nice story, though irrelevant to the actual point.
Pillock.
There is no actual point. You might think you have one, but you'd be incorrect.

This decade was pretty successful in that regard. 3 teams won their first premiership and some made their first grand final in years.Would be nice to see Raiders v someone other than Roosters or Storm and win it this year. Or by some miracle see the Warriors win one! Sadly Titans still look a very long way from reaching a GF.
All of those achievements were pre-salary cap.
A salary cap which clearly either doesn't work or is being rorted.

The Salary cap isn't there to create an equal competition. It's there to stop clubs from bankrupting themselves chasing premiership glory. The hope that it will create an even comp is just a bonus
Without producing a single quality junior. So this proves that Melbourne Storm was the team of not one but two decades
what champs!!!
Still the Storm number 1Without producing a single quality junior.
Victorians are in general shyte at sport, great at watching it, shyte at doing it, hence they play thier own game.
It is quite the effort.
The very moment they play something that is not VFL they struggle and produce every 20 years or so, some one decent.
All VFL players are failures.
No question, best QLD team for the last 20 years, played in Melbourne.Still the Storm number 1
