That's a lot of assumptions to be made based purely on the fact that one guy might be working on the game, I guess we just ignore the experience, and what platforms all the other developers have had experience with?

Come on, PS3/PC exclusive. Microsofts "If the xbox version has less stuff than other versions we wont accept it on our consoles" bullsh!t is bringing us all down.

Oh, and i'm hoping the V stands for Vegas.

Um, You are aware the GTA IV ran at a higher resolution on the 360 than the PS3.

can't wait for this game!:D any idea of when it could be released? at least another couple of months? sometime next year? I'd like to see the game feature at least 1 overseas city somewhere in Europe or Asia London, Paris or China. Really hope this game meets its expectations.

I think it'll be released in 12-18 months. To completely hype the game, get the pre order records broken while also polishing off the game.

I'm starting to think it'll be Vegas. Can't wait for the trailer!

Apparently. Then again, plenty of reviewers agreed that the PS3, due to better processing, had a better picture.

Who really cares. I just want to blow things up and perhaps shoot some hookers in the back.

Vegas isn't big enough. They could do a casino based city but there is absolutely nothing once you get off the strip.

Bring back the countryside that's in San Andreas. I had so much fun riding up and down hills with dirt bikes, tractors and all kinds of shit.

I've got it on both systems and the PS3 version is definitely a better picture. Driving through Bohan with the shadows from the train tracks is terrible and grainy.

San Andreas II pleaseeeeee!!

Road tripping with the Grove Street homies in a Patriot from Los Santos to San Fierro via the country side to start a fight with the Da Nang Boys and then escaping the 5* wanted rating on our way back to the Grove baby!!

Good times :).

GTA V to Launch As Digital Only Release?

GTA V will be unveiled for the first time tomorrow when Rockstar takes the wraps off the game's first trailer. It's unclear just how much information on the game will be provided, but one analyst believes the developer will be taking a bold step forward in advancing the digital market by making GTA V download only.
In a new report from Newzoo covering DLC, Pre-Owned and Digital Distribution, CEO Peter Warman commented, "There are a lot of reasons why publishers are pushing towards digital distribution of triple A games. Speaking out loud might harm the relationship with retail partners, but the benefits have become too large to remain silent about the desire to go completely digital. The ultimate objective being to launch games faster, create continuous revenues on a title and simply to make more money. Will retail disappear from the picture? Of course not. Retail will always remain an important channel to promote and distribute games. Retail has a strong hand to play when it comes to eyeballs and… boxes make a nice gift. Boxed games will not disappear, but what is in the box will. That is why the boxed GTA V version will contain a collectible piece of merchandise and a download code. No disc."
IndustryGamers does believe the industry is headed in a digital direction, but we think it's actually very unlikely that Rockstar would choose to go download only for GTA V. In fact, almost 12 million of the 28 million Xbox 360s sold in the U.S. have either a 4Gb hard drive or a 20Gb hard drive. So, Take-Two would be eliminating a huge part of their potential audience.

After having trouble with the Catwoman DLC from B:AC I am completely against this.

Is this the developers way of preventing pre-owned games?

the rumour is that it will be based in San Andreas

this was released by a 4chan member
-The protagonist is Hispanic and his name is Adrian.
-It takes place in San Andreas in 2012. The Mayan end of the world is parodied a lot because of this.
-You start out in Los Santos and are in your rival’s turf, Varrios Los Aztecas, after getting beaten up and robbed.
-The game revolves around money in a big deal. I’d reveal the big idea, but I don’t want to ruin it.
-Multiplayer is in again. There are a couple of new game modes, co-op story, and 32-player game modes for consoles and 64 player for PC. PC also includes dedicated servers.
-PC comes out on launch and is being ported by Leeds. From what they have shown us it is optimized much better than GTA 4.
-San Andreas includes all the same cities from GTA SA and this time they have all became ab it bigger as well as much more detailed.
-Gang turf wars are back. This time not only the general gang are in charge but different sets such as57th Ballas or the Eastside Azteca. They have their own graffiti. You can tag up stuff with custom sprays now too.
-Car modding is back so is lowriding of course.
-There are 9 radio stations. It features a range of music. Some of the rap is new, some is old. There’s a better selection than GTA 4 though IMO.
-Military has returned in the 6 star wanted level except they are referred to as National Guard.
-Cover system is upgraded and plays more smoothly.
-The moral decisions you saw in GTA IV have more effect on the story now. There are at otal of 4 unique endings.
-More girlfriends.
-Parachutes.
-Fun cheats are back!
