Seeing how good these 3 guys are going with longer minutes really makes you realize how bad 1 or 2 plodders can ruin your team. He was great for a number of years but Galloway was pretty terrible for his last couple.

Grant has been fantastic, I wasn't sure of his signing but can't be happier with how it's panned out so far.

Sue is an absolute beast, different player to taupau but he has made sure we don't miss Marty. Must be close to NZ selection. Could argue he has been our best player so far.

Ava has become a very good first grade prop. Glad he is getting more minutes now.

Loved Keith but watching these guys doesn't make you miss his powderpuff 7m hit ups.

I don't think Keith was that bad. THe 3 you mentioned though are killing it. Sue though is really coming on this year. It's a massive improvement.

I think Keithy is being hard done by here by insinuating he was only good for a 7 metre hit up. I thinks stats would confirm he regularly achieved a better metres gained per hit-up average, however, his problem (and it got worse later in his career) was the time it took him to get up off the ground. Other teams knew this and it was on every other teams tip sheet. Get him hopping on one leg, turtle him, twist up his long limbs into a knot and watch him take a minute or two to get to his feet to play the ball. They'd also walk him, unbalance him whilst keeping him upright, then let go when the ref called it and he'd fall.....TIIIIMBERRRR! and then the defence could get set waiting for the next play! It was the right time to let him go but I still respect the way he was prepared to regularly take it up on 1st & 2nd ruck, yes it was his job....But he never shirked it!

Keith was slow. Defensively even slower. We usually plonked him dead centre and let him tackle whatever ran into him.

Given his size, i wished the big oaf would run onto the ball off about 6 steps instead of walking onto it off 2.

Our prop rotation now is great.

I remember Keith last year really having a dig against Souths, then he had a scuffle with Grant and then instead of firing up even more he virtually vanished for the rest of the game which was dissapointing from the big man.
With Keith most of us liked him,but for his size he was never one to man handle and terrorize other packs.
Grant looks to be taking the right steps in rebuilding his career and has been good for us,Ava and Sue are both underated they seem to be getting better...!

Galloway should've been put out to pasture 3 yrs ago.To slow & not much stamina.

Admittedly he was better than the 3 biggest oxygen thieves to play for wt in the engine room o'hara Cayless & Blair !
