Agreed. I'm feeling very confident about Covell staying after hearing that. Interesting comment about "other decisions being made correctly" .....reference to Bird, the ongoing Development saga?? interesting.

well rick has been beating covell's drum for a while now, but still no result on the contract issue

he would never say anything that could be taken in a negative intepretation, especially going into the finals

is it time to stop pumping the neighbours cat and feed it instead....

why hasn't cov received an offer from another club?

i love the big guy, but through all the continuous back slapping he receives from the coach - i cant see him running out again next year

Perhaps he has received an offer and wasn't happy with it.

Since he's signed with us he's played city country, an international, and is likely to wrap up pointscorer of the year. Probably wants a significant upgrade which is fair enough IMO, but if we just don't have the money left I suppose our hands are tied.
