great grand finals

There have been great grand finals and quite a few shockers as well since 1998. there have been moments like the scott sattler tackle on byrnes in 2003. There have been really bad moments like the Paul Simpkins shocker from last year and the jamie ainscough high tackle in 99.

What do you think is the best or great grand finals ever since 1998.

Yeah, the best ones are the ones with the right result. 2001 and 2003 were fine. Other than 99, largely forgettable.

There were many great Grand Finals in the 20 years prior.

Canberra v Balmain in 1989 was the best one I can remember. Then maybe 1999.

See it's funny - three Broncos grand final wins there, but it stands to reason they are my three favourites despite the fact I wouldn't call them "great" in terms of viewing from a neutral perspective.

In terms of viewing pleasure and excitement, I loved the 1999 and 2003 GF's the best from that lot.
