Blakes return could perhaps be warranted but Lawrence needs to play state cup to see if he can earn his spot because he has shown zilch all year.I personally think he is washed up as a first grader but if he can strip some bulk and regain some speed he may prove me wrong.

Good win ,our young players are coming along nicely and we looked so much better when sirro was able to run some plays.Benji is just going through the motions playing scared, afraid of the collision and more worried about what he looks like for his close up.

Why cant he just snap out of prima donna mode ,at least I know what he is really good at - 4th tackle kick to fullback or winger on the full and also the classic tactic kick the ball dead also on 4th tackle.

ps surely there is a better option than Iosefa

Simona has been playing on the left,same side which Lawrence usually plays,the kid deserves the centre position due to the fact he is faster,has better ball skills and can create opportunities something Lawrence has been unable to do.Rowdy to the wing.

Gronk, I think whilst he shifted to the wing so Anasta could play centre, when he scored 'that try' he had moved inside Anasta.

You'd assume though that he will be playing wing next week outside Rowdy.

I think the second tier cap will dictate what team Potter picks, so I would expect both Rowdy and Aysford back in the 3 and 4. I think Reddy has been great over the past few games,great defensively and great under the high ball. Simonia has been getting better with every start

Guys, I have been a harsh critic of the side while they were on the wrong end of the score board. The last two games they have won and still only looked fair but they have won and are getting a mini roll on. Don't carve them up for nothing, pat them on the back when they bloody try hard and get the result!!

Great win.
Awful first 30 or so, but from there they really dug deep and pulled one out of the bag. Great to see the youngsters carrying us too. Sirro is outplaying Benji, Nofo/Simona etc. look better every week and even the young fwds are looking strong (Blair, not so much).

Benji is still a massive concern.

I know he kicked a lot dead but that is often a good thing, It allows us to set our line defensively, I agree that sometimes it is better to not kick it dead. Benji kicked it long and his bombs were spot on. It was a huge effort.

05, I'd reckon you should watch the game again.
I caught the replay last night on Fox, and it only reinforced just how poor Benji's kicking game really was.
In commentary, Sterling correctly criticised 3 of his kicks. And they deserved it.
Even Gus had a go at another couple of his poor kicks.
In fact, Benji only had 1 good kick . . . where Sirro jumped for it and ended up with Segeyaro underneath him.
Let's put aside the debate about the effectiveness of intentional kicks over the dead ball line, and count those 4 or 5 kicks as neutral.
His kicking game was crap.
Watch the game again.

I won't watch it again because I don't have time. To be fair I was pissed but thats not unusual.

I still think he played well. People knocking that pass for instance have an agenda. We played down there end a lot and that was important. Benji's kicking game did that for us.

Even stating Sirro played better than Benji is a but ripe. I think Sirro is going great but Benji is really getting in there and having an impact over the last couple of weeks.

We didn't have Robbie there as well. It was a big win.

I often agree with you but cant this time. Benji was throwing passes for Moltzen in the 3rd row of the crowd - lucky Nofo caught one.

He took it, it was the right option and that is all that counts. I suggest you watch this one again - it was pretty good.

Benji was rubbish.

Anasta is a very poor goalkicker, slightly worse than Benji.

His last kick summed it up for me. Up by 2 with a minute or so to go, Benji has the ball on the last 10m from touch and puts in a bomb.

Each and every other play maker would kick that into touch and have a coffee on the way to the scrum.

As for Anasta, what he lacks as a player he makes up for as a leader, especially the last game without Farah. He's constantly talking to the young guys and telling them what's expected, Benji was possibly the most experienced player in a Tigers jersey yet was on another planet, looks no further than the next play.

Benji's goalkicking % is slightly better.

That makes Anasta worse.
