Stacey on the list - just from the time I've been watching, some absolute greats have missed out - off the top of my head:

1. Garry Jack
2. Kerry Boustead
3. Steve Rogers
4. Andrew Ettingshausen
5. Mark McGaw (struggling to think of a winger - Cronulla is a treasure trove)
6. Wally Lewis
7 Stacey Jones
8. Steve Roach
9. Ben Elias
10. Ian Roberts
11. Paul Sironen
12. Gary Larsen
13. Wayne Pearce

14. Bob Lindner
15. Nathan Hindmarsh
16 Les Davidson
17. Mario Fenech

Missed a lot, I am sure - and perhaps have some there that snuck one in?

Mark Graham (Bit before my time), Gavin MIller, Greg Florimo, Garry Larsen, Billy Moore, Matt Bowen, more Cronulla, Norths, Warriors?

Mark Graham stayed loyal to Norths, May have cost him a chance to win a premiership. He was so good back then for Norths and the Kiwis.

Yeah a lot of players on my list stayed loyal... Roberts and Lindner bounced around a bit but despite being legit greats I don’t think they got one, Super League cost Roberts I think

Yeah, Hindmarsh....I know it's a running joke, but surely he isn't anywhere close to being the greatest player to miss out on a premiership or even on the team

Personally I think Hindmarsh was a tremendous player - but no, not the greatest... in my group that's clearly Wally... but of those with bigger NRL careers, Rogers, Ettingshausen, Roach, Pearce perhaps?

I know he's a comedy act now, but he was a pretty bloody good footy player

He was great imo, pace etc when younger and huge engine

Hi comedy partner Fletcher was a terrific backrower too

hindy has perhaps the best motor I’ve ever seen on a forward. Remarkable especially as he was never super athletic looking, he always looked slightly chunky but he never stopped.

Did Gary Freeman ever win one? I don't think he did. He can be on the bench ... although there's a risk he may not get off the bus. Mark Graham has to start in the 13.

Sean Hoppe is a shot for wing, long NRL career, lots of tests for NZ, would have won in 1994 but got shafted by Canberra because he signed with the Warriors.
