I have been enjoying reading about the quest to find out LU members favourite movie of all time.
Well, I am here to find out the best movie villain of all time. What villain do you despise the most. Well, here is your chance to have your say.

I have divided the villains into twenty pools. The first ten pools consist of the AFI (American Film Institute) top 50 villains of all time. The next ten pools consist of what I consider to be very bad characters. With these characters, I included villains from australian cinema, asian cinema and relatively new movies.

The top two villains who attract the most votes will go through to the next round.

I will also include a VILLAINS WILDCARD thread. If you think I have made a glaring omission, state your character in this thread. I will only count two villains from each forum member. The top two most popular villains will go through to the next round.

Don't forget to include some debate, as it makes the thread more interesting. Happy voting!!!

Group one voting will start today.

Was Nurse Ratchet in there somewhere? From Cuckoo's Nest?

Also, funnily enough i view Travis Bickle as more of a hero than anything...certainly never considered him a villain when watching Taxi Driver.

The Nurse is on the list.

I aree with you regarding Travis Bickle. I included him purely because he was in the top 50 list. Otherwise, I would have omitted him.
