Foxsports are reporting this morning that Green has agreed to come out of retirement to take on the man again, for some big bucks.

I guess that morning he woke up and "Something hit me" has turned out to be a load of bondi sewer.
Money talks and his bullsh*t is walking to Sydney (from Perth)

If true Green has made a goose of himself in a big way..

Wonder what weight they will fight at?

Will anyone care?

What im hearing is that they will fight in the higher weight that is suited to Green (whatever that is).

Im hearing 5 million just for turning up.

I also heard Mundine say he was ready to stop fighting nuffies after his last fight and drop down a division to test himself against the 'real' fighters.

However this all seems to have changed.

My sources are pub talk and the radio!

Woul dbe at LH.. Which means that not only has Mundine beaten him one weight division higher then his but if this goes ahead he will have beaten him 2 divisions higher as well..

Wonder what the excuses will be then..

He did..Well something like that.. But he is also driven by money which is holding his career back but is going along great financially

Well whilst I hope the fight goes ahead just because I enjoy a high profile boxing match (even though so often they are dud fights), Mundine should try to crack the big fighters if he really wants to prove himself, surely that can generate the big bucks??

How far away would he be from fighting names like Hopkins, Mayweather, del a hoya, Tarva, Juda, Hatton, Tzu etc etc (I know they are all different weight divisions but basically big name fighters who are the best and I have heard of)

They are both nuffies Mong and Mundine is prolly the bigger nuffy for going back after green for the $ sign, which basically is what his boxing career has been based on.

The pair of them are pathetic.

Of course it will, the australian public will be ripped off again watching two non world class fighters face off, whilst guys like Darchinyan and Billy Dib are ignored.

Clearly not every one agrees with you.. These fights will continue because they make plenty of $$ from them as people are keen to watch it and happy to pay for it..

Would they do it if they felt they were being ripped off?

So tell me Mr expert, what has Mundine actually done to make himself world class?

You Mundine fans are quick to knock his critics but short of facts to back up your arguement.

Billy Dib has a title does he not? He fights in america does he not?

Whats Mundine again??? thats right an INTERIM Title Holder Hahahaha

Now lets see, he has a mandatory against Kessler and decides to change wieght divisions, not a good buisness decision to take that fight?

Me stick to league? Yep no worries, done, whilst doing that, you and every other f**kwit mundine fan thats in denial can have a reality check, you are all morons, Allah be praised :p

Dud fights Simo, eh!

You didn't catch Margarito - Cotto then, or Manny Pacquiao's last blow out...there are plenty of 'high profile' match ups out there (Pavlik, Abraham, David Haye spring to mind) but it depends if you're looking for a real fight fan's fight, or over hyped drudgery like Choc's match ups, or a De La Hoya warm up (think Steve Forbes).

Here's a tip Simo, cast your eyes towards the lighter weight divisions and you'll find what you're looking for:

135's wide open...Casamayor, Campbell, the Diaz's, Amir Khan, and of course Michael 'the bubble' Katsidis (who's fighting Juan Diaz on September 6 if you're interested).

Pacquiao reigns supreme at 130, but keep a look out for the Venezuelan banger, Valero...24 - 0 with 24 stoppages.

122...the Ring top ten says it all, Vasquez, Marquez, Caballero, Lopez, Molitor, Kratingaenggym, Medina, Ndlovu, Ponce De Leon, Bautista and Jhonny Gonzalez...take your pick from that lot.

Jr. Bantam...Mijares, Montiel, Munoz, and of course our Vic. Surely you caught Vic ruining Kirilov a fortnight ago, eh!

Oh, by the way...
Hopkins...gone, Calzaghe saw to that.

Money Mayweather..."retired", and I can't see him coming out of retirement to face the Tijuana tornado (probably the reason he cackled it in the first place).

The Golden Boy, one more fight then it's over...too many irons in the fire promotion wise.

Tarver...enough said.

Judah...Josh Clottey saw to that loudmouth.

Hatton...the preacher's been sacked and the hitman's back at jr. welter after receiving a boxing lesson from Money (with a little help from the ref, eh!), but where to from here?

Tszyu...currently in Russia training Povetkin, never was the same after meeting Hatton, end of.

regards

I said often the high profile fights are duds, not all boxing fights are duds.
My point was that mundine should have a crack at the real fighters rather waste his career against the so many nuffies he has fought.
I wasnt implying he actually fight Tszyu, de la hoya etc but those who are of there calibre (obiovusly when they were fighting not retired).

Whilstyour summary of boxing was interesting, it actually had nothing to do with my post.

Neither are world class..Dib (joke), and to hear him and Lewis banging on during 'always in your corner'...

Dib: "I'd just like to say that if I can do this at 22, just think what I'll be like at 27"...tickets Bill, you need to pull your head in son.

Lewis on the 'tape' issues: "I was using a new brand of tape and it kept coming loose, I won't be using it again"...not until your seconding another 'world' title fight for Bill eh John.

Obviously I'm paraphrasing...I mean I don't sit there transcribing the show, but this was the tone of the comments, as for the Warren boy, enough said.

Now onto Choc...bailed out of super middle, why, to fight better opposition at 160. There are only three big fights for Choc at middle, Pavlik, Abraham and Sturm...in my opinion, he loses them all.

So, while Choc's struggling to get viewers for the Crazy Kim debacle, this is what's going on at 168...

Kessler regains Choc's WBA belt...
Bute will fight Andrade in October for the IBF title...
and Froch will match up with Jermain Taylor for Calzaghe's old WBC trinket...

Choc was number three in the ring ratings and with Calzaghe relinquishing his undisputed position as numero uno in the division it was all open for the Man. The potential to unify the division was there, and Choc drops to middle...

yet he'll go up two divisions for a 'big money' showdown with DG...

sounds like a bottle job to me, eh!
