Fair dinkum, i find it hard to rate this bloke. He's Sydney-centic, he's never bothered doing his research about teams outside Sydney. And as the most talented half and biggest under-achiever of his generation (rep-wise), I was mystified and pretty happy when Freddy appointed him his advisor or whatever his title is.

Ennis can be insightful at times, he's also a major drama queen which means he'll go far in media.

The standard of commentary at Fox and Nine is dire.

You've got the decades past it's used by date 'who's on first' routine between gus and rabs and if you switch over to Fox you get ear raped by roach.

I think foxsports must have a quota system. x amount of qld'ers must be on the commentary team. Honestly, it can be the only way Hodges/Mal gets a gig.

I love him. All commentators are biased, but brandy is up front about his. He loves the panthers, he hates a few choice clubs, and it’s all obvious. I also like that he has clear allegiances to his mates kids. He always had a soft spot for Pearce since he is mates with Wayne. It all just makes him come across as a genuine bloke.

Other guys like Ennis or Marty Johns are just as biased, but theirs is for whoever happens to be punching their cheques that week. I can’t stand bought “loyalty” like that. They also try to hide it behind being just objective commentary, which is trash.
