Macksville is a hole, i wouldn't wanna be within 500ks of the joint either... nice ppl though

Yep. Only time i go there is when i drive straight through to go north.

Kinda sucked when i had to go up to Casino the week of Xmas last year, took me 1/2 hour to get through there.

look this story has about 20% truth in it.
GI is loved in Bowraville and the Nambucca Valley and the Storm is right up there for teams supported. ( I should know since i sell NRL gear in the area and the Storm would be in the top 3 supported teams)
Next time the author is up this way he should drop in and see me to find out the facts.
Preston Campbell visits regular as he has heaps of Relo's here, I know some of them, thats why he is so popular. But not many support the titans.

"The upshot will be that for the time being, Inglis is a genius without the kind of home that a Wally Lewis, an Andrew Johns or a Peter Sterling had. They all represented their place, in club and Origin football. It meant something then and it still does now. Ask the mob in Bowraville."

LOL riiiight Peter Sterling....

And we now know why,he sold his soul for cash, some not above board,so he now reaps what he has sewn.
And the queenslanders who are trotting out the jealous sour grapes line,I laugh,if the roles were reversed they would have burnt down the NSWRL head quarters.

Well said. And if Big Game had played as well for the Maroons as Anasta has for the Blues, all their fans would be up in arms going "Why the hell is he still in the team, he's not even a Qlder!"

Only if the Courier Mail told us to.

Most of it from North of the Tweed trying to defend the dollar driven decision of big game.

I really don't care about his choice, I think it says a fair bit about him as a person. I just wish he'd say why he rally chose QLD when it came to SOO, the $$$$ his selection would earn him.

Exactly. Even a dyed in the wool NSW boy like myself, as a 16 y/o playing league if I had the QRL coming to me telling me if I signed on the dotted line I'd be playing Origin and making big bucks, I would be VERY tempted to do so.

What's laughable is that he started by saying his family all went for the Maroons, his own cousin has since blown that out of the water, so now he's saying he got inspired watching Artie Beetson play live on TV. The same Artie Beetson who hung up the boots a whole 7 years before Big Game was even born! Then again, we're talking about the same guy who expects us to believe he gave his ex missus a black eye trying to stop her from harming herself...

Yeah, QLDrs are the ones constantly bringing it up and crying over it whenever Origin is mentioned.

I wasn't aware Misty was a maroon.

He turned his back on the blues. Let him go play for QLD. We don't need people who sell their pride! I'd rather lose with a honest team than win with an illegal team (and yes, as a proud Bulldog supporter, I am aware of the pun there)!
