Obviously contracts are worth less than the paper they're printed on these days.

Even the article itself talks about what he will do in 2017 at the age of 30. He is not even considering walking out on his contract.

Rabbitoh for life.

Actually read the article again, it started with Inglis looking at his options for NEXT YEAR. And clearly Inglis doesn't see himself as rabbitoh for life.

Sam Burgess left, Luke Burgess is gone, Tom and George are looking to get out as well, head to union, Teo left, and now Inglis is leaving the sinking ship.

You have John Sutton on the turps, the club is falling apart at the seams.
Rusty Crowe does not need to worry about the top 3 playing in the world club challenge, it wont be the bunnies, not the way things are going as players are leaving left right and centre.

Even Richo left before the ship hit rocks.

?He has two years to go on his contract but I am getting inquiries every day. Even the Sheffield Eagles, a division two club contacted me,? Gainey said.

?He is captain of Souths so I don?t think he is considering moving any time soon.

?It would be a monstrous transfer fee payable to South Sydney. Souths won?t let him walk.?

he's gone & you know it.

Certainly not before 2017 and most likely not even then. But if he does go then he will be 30 and we will have had him for his best years. Luke/Reynolds/Keary/Johnson in 2017 is a premiership contending spine.

Why would the broncos want a 30 year old 125kg fat merkin who only wants to play for the broncos out of convenience?

Thanks, but no thanks.

melbourne got his best.

souffs got his lazy, 'slumming it' period. he became fat & comfortable swallowing rusty's coin. in short he let himself go.

he's a queenslander & wants to go home.

he's a far better fullback than he was as a centre for Melbourne, on that I would suggest Souffs got his best

what's more is he proved beyond doubt that he's a class player even if he doesn't have the likes of Smith, Cronk and Slater around him

He's gone from a centre with the best players in the game giving him quality ball to the best player in the game in the last three seasons.

Pretty handy passenger.
