he can f**k off, has been a mercenary his whole career
Just read on sportsmate that inglis is considering a switch to union , bunniesmam is cursed
Question to everyone here
Full disclosure: I am a souths fan
If Greg Inglis was signed on a Contract where upon they were able to secure him over other clubs by backending his contract (Can't remember if this was the case or not so hypothetical unless someone can link me to an article here) and then released him 1-2 years early effectively avoiding the backended portion of the contract.. should that be allowed?
Again not saying this is the case just using a high profile player here.
I think this is a disgusting practice.
As a Dragons fan, I know my club would never stoop this low.

Inglis to the broncos
Fiddy: it would be allowed [however some of the contractual amount may still count against the cap at the discretion of the salary cap auditor]
One thing to bear in mind is that the NRL will tell you (if you call them up) that they do not register contracts with 'significant variance' in the $$ amount between seasons. Obviously 'backending' could be the result of raises along the way, but you couldn't pay someone $300k $300k $1m.
Well, at least that's what they said....
If that's true it seems Inglis wants the Broncos to pay for his retirement package. Shouldn't be hard to do considering they're trying to buy another premiership.
Such a bitter merkin
